Why speak Indonesian while traveling?
The ideal destination for an exceptional stay
The largest archipelago in the world is the perfect destination for anyone looking to escape to a natural paradise. Crystal clear seas, exuberant forests, active volcanoes, a rich biodiversity of no less than 47 ecosystems, the presence of legendary animals such as tigers, rhinos and orangutans: the beauty of this country is unique in the world.
The lucky ones who get the opportunity to visit the various islands of Indonesia will also be able to celebrate the ethnic and cultural diversity which is revealed in the rich tradition of the Batak, Toraja or Minangkabau peoples for example. This diversity can be easily spotted in the local architecture, which has been influenced by India, China, the Middle East and even Europe!
With a population of around 250 million, Indonesia has a diverse economy, which is particularly active in agriculture, the textile industries, oil and natural gas.

Whether you are going to spend a few days with friends for a leisure trip or if you are on a business trip, nothing will be more useful to you than to be able to slip a few words in the language of your interlocutors, who will appreciate your effort and will be certainly more willing to help.
How to succeed in having good pronunciation within a week to a month?
Spoken by more than 225 million people, Indonesian is the official language of Indonesia and one of the languages spoken in the Republic of East Timor.
Learning Indonesian is less difficult than other Asian languages, because it is spelled with the Latin alphabet and has no accents and tones like other languages of the region.
Here are some examples to get started in learning the pronunciation of this language:
- The consonant j is pronounced between "dj" and "di";
- The consonant c is pronounced "tch", as in "match";
- The "r" rolls;
- The consonant h is aspirated.
